Terms of sale

Clear terms for purchases from THEN, with delivery and practical details agreed personally before payment.

THEN is operated by LOEBBERT PRODUKSJONER, organisation number 927 311 909, Geitmyrsveien 72, 0455 Oslo, Norway.

Purchase and payment

“Reserve this watch” is an enquiry and does not by itself constitute a completed purchase. Availability, final price, delivery and these terms are confirmed personally by email.

Payment is made by invoice and bank transfer. The watch is dispatched or made available for collection after payment has been received.

Condition

All watches sold by THEN are vintage objects. Signs of age, wear and previous use are part of their individual condition.

Each watch is described and photographed as accurately as possible. Known material observations are disclosed before purchase. Vintage watches may not offer the same precision, water resistance or durability as modern watches unless explicitly stated.

Delivery

Collection in Oslo is available by appointment at no additional cost.

Delivery method and cost are agreed individually before payment. Tracked and adequately insured shipping is recommended and is paid by the customer. A different reasonable delivery method may be agreed in writing. International delivery is considered individually.

THEN is responsible for the watch until it has been delivered to the customer.

Right of withdrawal

For purchases concluded at a distance, private customers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The period begins the day after the watch has been received.

The customer must notify THEN clearly by email within the withdrawal period. A withdrawal form is supplied with the order confirmation.

The watch must be returned safely, with all accompanying items, in the same condition in which it was received. The customer pays for tracked and adequately insured return shipping. The customer may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the watch.

THEN refunds the purchase price and the original standard delivery cost in accordance with applicable law after the returned watch has been received and inspected. The statutory right of withdrawal does not normally apply to a purchase completed in person after the customer has inspected the watch.

Complaints

The customer retains all statutory rights under Norwegian consumer law. A complaint must concern a fault or discrepancy that was present at delivery and should be submitted within a reasonable time after it was discovered.

Normal age-related characteristics, disclosed condition, expected tolerances of a vintage mechanical movement and damage caused by use, impact, moisture, magnetism or incorrect handling are not in themselves considered faults.
